  1. This file explains how/why to register for PD support.
  2.  
  3. I am expecting this program to be fairly popular. Therefore I have
  4. arranged with Denesh Bhabuta in the UK to handle PD support of this
  5. program for me. If you register with Denesh he can send you current
  6. versions/fixes and also be a central point for information about STiK. 
  7. Registered users can send comments, suggestions, bug reports to Denesh,
  8. and he will pass them on to me.

  10. One thing I haven't had time to do properly is write some decent
  11. documentation for this program.  When (if?) I do, I'll send it to
  12. Denesh for distribution..

  20. support scheme includes e-mail/postal help with the program as well as

  36. floppy disk and a stamped self addressed envelope to the above address.

  40. STiK is Freeware but may become commercial. The author is explicitly
  41. *not* asking for any money at all. It is free for you to use. But I
  42. will gladly take any contributions to pass on to him if you wish to
  43. send some. ;-)

  45. The Freeware version allows you to Web browse as well as use IRC
  46. (Internet Relay Chat). It provides the user's system with TCP/IP
  47. sockets, upon which other comms applications can be built and used. The
  48. commercial version is planned to be a full internet access package
  49. (minus the web browser). No new features are planned to be added to the
  50. Freeware version of STiK, just bug fixes.
